Integrated Computer Support

My name is Jack Crain and I have been working in the computer and network services business in the DFW area for over 20 years.  I started Integrated Computer Support because I realized, through friends and family, that affordable customized Home and Small Office/Home Office computer support was non-existent.  I believe that the home user needs a reliable personal computer technician to help with their computer or network issues at a reasonable price that is significantly less than corporate rates.

The free offer includes the original call and any follow-up calls until the problem or consultation is completed.  Parts, additional software or on-site labor are not included in the free offer.

To keep your cost low, purchase the proper PC for the required use. PC's contain basically the same components no matter who produces the PC, from Dell to IBM the internal parts are based on the same standards.  A PC can be built, at a minimal cost, to perform a specific task at minimal cost.  The best deals change weekly and an awareness of the current best options on the proper PC is my goal in every case.

Some viruses today are not stopped by antivirus software alone.  A quick patch is usually all you need to resolve your problem quickly.

DLS or Cable? (Broadband)
Call for help on choosing a DSL or Cable broadband connection for your home.  Once you have decided and received you self-installation package from the Phone Company or Cable Company, I will install the connection at a low set charge.

Consultation on setting up wired or wireless network in your home.
A network can let you share a high speed connection over DSL (purchased from the phone company) or Cable (purchased from the cable TV company) to establish a high speed internet access. It also can let the PC's on the network work together and share a single printer.  This is the cheapest way to have several PC's in your home share your internet connection. 

Estimate for hardware problems
Call for help in determining solutions to problems you are having with your computer or any peripherals.  If we cannot resolve over the phone I will be glad to schedule a visit to your home to diagnose the problem.  Many hardware problems are quickly resolved.  If your PC is under warranty I will work with your manufacturer to get your warranty service expedited.

Diagnoses of software problems
Call for help in determining solutions to problems you are having with your computer software.  If we cannot resolve over the phone I will be glad to schedule a visit to your home to diagnose the problem.  Many software problems are quickly resolve.

Installation of computers, printers, scanners, cameras or PDA's, labor only.
If you already have a computer and wish to have me install any peripheral devices that are new or replacements for old units, such as scanners or printers.  I can also advise on the best peripheral devices at the lowest price.  I constantly review current equipment on the market and have a very good insight as to the best equipment for the most
reasonable price and where to buy.

Service hours are 7AM to 10PM Monday
through Saturday.
